During the checkout out process you will find a number of different delivery options and associated prices. Further details of delivery methods are shown below:
Free Delivery: If this option is available for your order this is our standard delivery service for which we use the Royal Mail 2nd Class Postal Service. Royal Mail aim to deliver by the third working day after posting, typically this option is 2 to 3 days longer than the 1st class service. This service is only available for orders up to 1800g in weight.
First Class Post: Royal Mail aim to deliver their 1st Class Postal Service by next working day, including Saturdays, however typically we find this service is 1 to 2 days.
Second Class Post: Royal Mail aim to deliver their 2nd Class Postal Service within working 3-4 days including Saturdays.
Tracked: Royal Mail offer a tracked delivery service where they aim to deliver within working 3-4 days including Saturdays.
Courier Next Working day: This option is a next working day courier service for UK mainland (excluding Highlands and certain Scottish postcodes, if in doubt or require further information for these destinations please call for details). This service applies to In-Stock orders placed before 1pm; where goods are not in stock delivery is next working day after stock arrival. Our couriers deliver between 9am - 6pm Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Courier Delivery Service: As above except that this service arrives 1 working day later e.g. 2 working days.
Courier (Parceline): This is an alternative Courier service we offer to selected European destinations. For Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands delivery is approximately 2 working days, for rest of Europe approx 3 to 6 working days.
Courier (Fedex): This service is used for International orders over 2kg in weight and for a speedier delivery timescales, typically within 48 hours for European Destinations and between 3 & 5 working days for Worldwide. Please note volumised weight restrictions are in place and we will contact you with a revised quote if necessary.
Air Mail: Royal Mail’s Air Mail service is used for International orders up to 2kg in weight. Royal Mail aim to deliver to European destinations within three working days and worldwide within five, however much will depend on the speed of your local post. Typically parcels can take up to 10 working days after delivery. If you select this option you take the responsibility of the parcel going astray during post. N.B Size restrictions apply.
Air Mail (Insured): This is the insured version of airmail whereby Royal Mail obtain a signature on delivery at the destination. If an item is sent by this method and is lost during post we will resend free of charge.
Please note:
It is imperative that billing address details are entered exactly as shown on credit/debit card statements, since delays can occur if any information is entered incorrectly.
All delivery timescales are subject to availability.
Occasionally we may split your order and in these circumstances the goods will arrive in more than one parcel and arrive at different times.
A signature may be required for certain delivery services.
If the parcel is too large for your letterbox and you are unavailable to take delivery a calling card will be left for you to arrange collection from your local Post Office or redelivery. Occasionally the parcel may be left with neighbours or in a safe location which will be indicated on the card.
Working day refers to any day Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.
